The UK CCCA Meetings started during lockdown as online meetings provided a lifeline for community connection during a period of isolation and uncertainty. By harnessing the power of virtual meetings, we were able to bridge geographical divides, allowing members from all corners of the UK to come together and be able to participate, which was fantastic.
The regular online meetings provided support and a platform for individuals to voice their concerns, share experiences, stories, practices and coping strategies, whilst helping members to get through a challenging period.
We have continued to meet once every three months, and welcome new members and am grateful to SAF for providing this space for individuals in the UK to be able to access this much needed support. We are also grateful to Dr. Sharon Belmo, Consultant Dermatologist, who is the medical advisor to this group.
For anyone within the UK, please let us know if there are any topics that you would like to see us cover in our next meeting which has been changed to Tuesday 16 July, at 6pm BST.
We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible, that are able to join.

Support Group Leader
